In the process of the New Coronavirus Epidemic (Covid-19), which surrounds the whole world and includes our country, our university has started emergency distance education applications in all programs by using its own information and communication technologies infrastructure in order not to interrupt the education and training processes and to manage this process in a healthy way. "Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University Distance Education Quality Policy" was established with the decision of our University Senate dated 2.12.2020 and numbered 2020/26. In line with this adopted policy, Alapli Vocational School Distance Education Quality Policy has been established.

- In formal education programs, up to 40% of the courses are given by distance education, according to the decision of the departments,
- Outside the classroom, in-service training, seminars, conferences, panels and interviews, etc. dissemination of other activities through distance education applications,
- Ensuring the integration of the conference rooms with the learning management system by equipping them with the necessary technology,
- Establishing the infrastructure for the establishment of content development workshop and course recording studios for the development of audio/visual materials that will be needed for distance education,
- Establishing at least one studio class in each education unit, equipped with the necessary equipment for the live broadcast and recording of the course activity, as well as the formal education activity,
- Giving orientation training to all students, including those newly registered for the use of distance education processes and the learning management system,
- Providing students with content that they can complete in a short time through information and communication technologies, that does not contain too many details, and that they can easily assimilate,
- With the widespread use of changing and developing technology and mobile devices, the electronic learning content of the courses should be developed in accordance with the changing user habits,
- Planning a flexible distance education system with the highest level of in-class communication and interaction, where the lessons are held with informatics and communication tools,
- Ensuring the participation and support of all internal and external stakeholders in distance education processes,
- Developing and implementing student-centred processes and activities,
- Carrying out studies for the improvement of all processes with continuous monitoring within the scope of internal quality assurance.
